Daging Masak Sodap

daging masak sodap

Since today is my wife's birthday, I decided to cook for dinner. I called it daging masak sodap! Today I went back early as I had an appointment with the contractor and settling all rent and loans. The last time I cooked probably a few months back, and this is the first time cooking since I got married! I remembered last three years, my roommate pokcik @ Rozaidi (now at Texas Instrument) and I made nasi ayam for open house since my family were at US at that time. Miss those days!

onion, garlic and ginger

meat

slice according to the 'urat'

fried the daging before being kept in air asam

finally masak with all the ingrediants (including sauce)

p/s guess what, insyaAllah I'm going to be a father in 8 month time! :)

What's with datuk or whatsoever?

What's with Datuk, or Dato' or Tan Sri or whatever? In the past few weeks, I really had some time with a few datuk's, datuk wannabe and datuk to transform into a datuk sri. I met people, one of them I respect most is a CEO form a well known GLC, very humble, down to earth. Twice he had offer to become a datuk, once during my meeting with him at his office, where his PA send him a fax paper stating that he's gonna get a datukship from one of our Sultan, but he rejected it. The second time he got again the datuk, but he said does not need it. He even said that his wife does not want to be a datin!

They were other datuk or tan sri which had so a few post in several companies. Anyway, what's with all this datuk and whatsoever? Here's some nice explaination...

I'm a Married Man!

Alhamdulillah, its already more than two weeks after marriage. We settle down at Sentul East. Most of my wife's stuff had already been transferred to our apartment from her hostel at UIA. I had a really great life after being married. There will always be someone waiting after work. Normally I finished my work at six, at will be back home by 6.30, my wife is persuing her final semester for Master, and already home by six. The food is prepared, no need for me to cook meggi mee. The food is great! There's always someone to give you the tenderness you'll always need when you're alone. Today my wife had prepared char koey tiow! Lets have dinner!
