Trip to Perth

breakfast at the Dome

I had the opportunity to go to Perth to share my experience on Myanmar with the people of Perth. It was a 3 days trip, and with the tight schedule with meeting and functions, I had only little time to go for sight seeing.

visit to Australian Islamic College, Perth

with Mohamed and Sis Habsah from Muslim Aid Australia

with Iman, the executive director of Muslim Aid Australia

It was more of a working trip. I was glad to meet Iman, the executive director of Muslim Aid Australia, we exchange thoughts and ideas on Muslim Aid future activities globally. According to Iman, Muslim Aid will start to explore things related to sustainable, such as sustainable agriculture and renewable energy. This will be a new era of Muslim Aid in helping the people in need not only during the emergencies, but also to tackle the root cause of poverty which are more related to the increasing of oil price and food.

An Offer from another charity NGO...

I was surprise to receive a job offer from a humanitarian organization in UK. They decided to open a branch in Malaysia and they are looking for staff to fill up the vacancies. They're might be offering salaries in USD, as the form they sent to me are all in USD.

I still have my heart for Muslim Aid Asia, I still want to continue to help people through Muslim Aid. May Allah give strength and guidance to me, Amin

Whats with Kechara Soup Kitchen?

Yesterday I manage to meet up with a member of the Kechara Soup Kitchen volunteer team, Mrs Pat Lu at TTDI. I was really impress with their work distributing food to the homeless and urban poor in the heart of Kuala Lumpur on every Saturday evening. Their motto: Hunger Knows No Barrier shows that help regardless of race, gender, religion or culture.

I'm hoping to gather some friends and volunteers, so that we can team up with the Kechara Soup Kitchen team to distribute the food to the needy. Interested? do call me at 012-3377195!

KLCC trip with Kak Norehan's family

Kak Norehan's family at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa

Last Sunday I used my free time to visit Kak Norehan's family. We didnt have home tuition that day. The last time I met them was 2 months back. I was too busy with the Kelantan trip, Orang Asli trip, Nargis mission in Myanmar, and that day I just had nothing to do, so it was better for me to use the precious time to be with the poor family.

at KLCC

the kids at KLCC

I had a long chat with abg Zul, there were so many thing to talk and discuss. Maybe during the last 2 month, abg Zul may only chat with his wife and kids, as he is half paralyse, he wont have the opportunity to meet up friends outside.

camera phone only maa...

So this time, abg Zul asked weather its ok to go for jalan2. I said sure! So we went to Taman Tasik Titiwangsa and had our Magrib prayers there. Then we went to KLCC, it was their first time at KLCC and we snap some memorable photos. Fasihah and Anuar kept asking, are we going for dinner? andI kept answering yes, yes, yes. Ponek den menjawab...huhu.

with abg Zul

at Sri Niara

About 9pm, we went to Sri Niara at Taman Melati to have our dinner. Ikan kerapu 3 rasa, sotong masak merah, kailan ikan masin, tomyam chiang mai and mango juice were all in the list. We went home back around 10pm, and I can see the kids were already sleeping when we were on the way back. Nice outing, it managed to clear my mind...

after a 1 hour journey

RMC (Riders Malaya Community) organized a ride to TRAP,at Sg Klah, Sungkai. Its a hot spring with a huge pool where everyone can relaxed away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I took this opportunity to release the stress from work, just for mental clarity.

really enjoyed!

we're from Riders Malaya!

With Gentz and Rahim

About 30 bikes followed this trip to Sungkai. For me, it was my fourth time coming, and already familiar with this place. It was fun to and we really enjoyed it. The pictures tells everything!
